Georgetowne Pool Rules

The following rules and regulations were established for the pool and pool area:

1.    The Georgetowne Homeowners Association assumes no liability in case of accident or injury to anyone using these facilities. All swimmers will use the pool at their own risk. NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY AT ANY TIME.

2.    Pool hours until 10 p.m. daily except closed when necessary for maintenance.

3.    Pool is restricted to residents, escorted guests who are not houseguests, and unescorted houseguests over the age of 16.  •

4.    Gate must be locked at all times.

5.    Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult resident. That parent or adult resident is responsible for the child's behavior.

6.    All children not toilet trained are required to wear diapers and tight plastic or rubber pants.

7.    Proper bathing attire only in the pool, no cut offs or frayed material are allowed.

8.    Persons with infected draining skin lesions or a communicable disease are not permitted to use the pool.

9.    Shower before entering pool, no soaps or shampoo are allowed at the shower.

10.  Steps into pool must be unobstructed at all times.

11.  No jumping or diving in the pool.

12.    No running and no loud or boisterous conduct are permitted.

13.    No floats, toys, or devices allowed in the pool.

14.    Loud playing of radios is not permitted.

15.    No animals allowed within the gated area.

16.    No glass allowed within the gated area, and no food or snacks allowed in the pool area, but food or snacks may be consumed at tables under the cabana roof.

17.    All refuse must be placed in trash receptacles located in the pool area.

18.    No bicycles permitted inside the cabana gate.

19.    Anyone not conforming to the above rules may be asked to leave the pool premises by any member of the pool committee, or such other persons as authorized by the Board to do enforcement. If members of the pool committee are not present, residents should report the infraction to a member of the pool committee.
